2016 Pat Sangiovese
Bright red in colour, Sangiovese doesn’t have dense colour, purple tints. The aromas are of red cherry and raspberry fruit and sweet oak in the background. The palate is very full with red cherry flavours and dried Raspberries. Part of the feature of Sangiovese is the dry savoury tannin structure which is supported by spice from seasoned oak barrels and a natural acid line. While the Italian styles can be very firm, the Australian wines, due to our climate and ripeness, are dry but balanced.
No additions other than sulphur. Vegan friendly.
