Sourced from a single vineyard in the Riverland Region, this fruit is hand picked and taken to the winery. 50% whole bunch during fermentation for 2 weeks, pressed and put to an older French oak barrel for 10 months. Transferred to bottle and left for 6 months prior to release on May the fourth. No fining, no filtration.
Very Small batch. Only 360 bottles made.
This vintage is one of the first wines made from this variety in Australia. Originating from Portugal, this variety loves the climate from the Riverland region. Displays juicy dark fruits with hints of mocha. Extremely aromatic and a coating, fruit forward mouthfeel. Using whole bunch gives this wine another layer of complexity and crunch. Delicious.
