This wine came about with the use of 4 varieties, Fernao Pires, Gruner Veltliner, Vermentino and Riesling. Each parcel was kept separate, fermented on skins, left in older oak with full solid maturation for 10 months. Transferred out of barrel and blended together to make this gorgeous blend. Filtered and transferred to bottle. An easy wine to enjoy.
White yellow. This wine is just a massive flavour bomb. So potent with its sweet orange blossom, touch of white tea, a rip of sage and white pear. Quince on the palate is heightened with the refreshing, lively acid. Texture is there but so is balance, fullness and length. I keep going back to this wine and can’t put it down. A total delight and new experience.
